My Story

2022–2024

Started college by volunteering with CompuDopt, where I refurbished computers for underserved families and mentored Women in Tech workshops for 200+ middle school girls.

OCTOBER 2024

Attended my first SWE National Conference in Chicago with UH’s SWE chapter. Engaged in technical workshops, expanded my professional network and connected with industry leaders.

JANUARY 2025

Received an internship offer from General Dynamics Land Systems, joined CS Girls as a Peer Mentor, and led a team of 3 in UH’s HPE AI Showcase.

MAY 2025

Moved from Texas to Michigan for my Software Engineering Internship at GDLS. Explored Detroit while working on embedded systems & cybersecurity, getting an inside look at military vehicle technology, and building lifelong connections along the way.

AUGUST 2025

Began my senior year back in Houston with a promotion to Webmaster at CSGirls, and deepened my focus on technical product design and frontend architecture.

MAY 2026

Walked across the stage and earned my B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston.

SUMMER 2026

Taught game design, Python, HTML, Scratch, and robotics at UH CodeCougars. Built a webapp - CoogCommute - while earning specialized industry certifications in AI Fluency and Claude 101.

Behind the Screen

Art has always pulled me toward creativity; painting, digital art, music, anything with room to make something new. I played violin through middle and high school orchestra, and recently got back into painting, specifically Arabic calligraphy. I love the intricacy of the patterns, and it's become a way to stay connected to my heritage and faith. Scroll to see some of my pieces! →

Outside of that, I love collecting cities! A few of my favorites include: Amsterdam, Budapest, Milan, Paris, San Francisco, and Vancouver. When I'm home in Houston, you'll find me trying new cafes, spending time with family and friends, or being a very devoted cat mom.
